Solo exhibition: human life as collective experience

2025/11/8-2026/5/10

The Counter Voice Network installation at the Asia University Museum of Modern Art in Taichung, Taiwan features 48 voices from around the world counting down in various languages, played on a continuous loop. These global sounds are broadcast through vibration speakers made from paper cups—everyday objects that carry the memory of daily life and evoke the nostalgic history of the "string telephone" as a tool for communication.

In a significant layer of collaboration, these speaker-cups were handcrafted by local children and seniors from the community. This creates another dialogue between the global reach of the voices and the intimate, local touch of the hands that built the vessels.
